The Institute for Public Policy is a Bishkek-based independent organization that was founded in April 2005. It aims at promoting formation of a practice of public policy and development of mechanisms of constructive interaction between state institutions, civil society, mass media and businesses.
Consulation and expertise. IPP experts provide stakeholders with consultations and recommendations on topical issues of public policy.
Research and analysis. IPP conducts research on the most significant problems in different spheres of social and political life.
Strenghtening the role of the expert community. IPP pays great attention to the support of local experts and publishes analytical materials of Kyrgyz researchers on its website. IPP is also working closely and cooperating with the expert community in other countries.
Cooperation and dialogue. IPP regularly holds thematic roundtables on current issues involving pro-government and opposition forces, NGOs, media and other stakeholders. Roundtables are focused on achieving results and facilitating constructive resolution of conflicts.
