The discussion touched on old and new problems of cadre appointment policy in the country. The issue is related to the problem of corruption, persisitence of nepotism and poor performance of civil servants. Member of Jogorku Kenesh Jantoro Satybaldiev and Deputy Director of the State agency for civil service Narynbek Kasymov shared their views on what are the most salient aspects of civil service issue today. The roundtable proceedings are available here.
