The most interesting directions of Parliamentary Journalism in Kyrgyzstan will be taught by the best media experts of the country. Legislative process coverage, effective communications, political PR and advertisement, medial legislation, media and elections, analytical journalism and journalistic investigation are only some of the trainings that you will be able to attend in the scope of the "Increasing transparency of the Kyrgyzstani Parliament" project supported by the MSI.
You will also meet and ask questions to the most popular politicians of the state: Jogorku Kenesh Deputies, representatives of various parties, state structures, and leaders of civil society, leading journalists and politicians. They will not only share their work experience and talk about their institutions but also tell about their own vision of political, social and economic development of the country. In the interest of your career growth, there will be round tables on various issues directly related to the work of the Parliament: open and closed hearings, lobbying, candidates' image and PR technologies in election campaigns.
Classes will be held 1-2 times a week. Active participants will be awarded with certificates and diplomas upon project completion.
